This FileMaker plug-in for Windows and MacOS X systems allows you to create PDF documents in FileMaker.

Everything you can print to a printer can also be "printed" to a PDF document with this plug-in.

These PDF documents can be saved to your harddisk by using a "Save as..."-dialog or by specifing a filename by using a FileMaker calculation/script.

All PDFs can be send by email immediately with any Windows MAPI Mail Client or the Apple Mail application.

Your PDF documents can also be encrypted with a password.

Furthermore the plug-in allows you to combine independet documents to one long PDF document.

Comment
  • Version 2.x uses the "old" FileMaker API for FileMaker 5 to 8.5
  • Version 3.x uses the "new" FileMaker API for FileMaker 7 to 9
  • Both versions support the exactly same functions. The only reason why we developed a version 3.x was the circumstance, that FileMaker 8.5 on INTEL Macs does not load version 2.x plug-ins.
  • There is no version 3.x for Windows because it is simply not necessary. Version 2.x contains the same functions as version 3.x
  • MacOS X: Documentation for Experts: Manual installation of the schubec PS2PDF plug-in, Ghostscript and the schubec PS Printer.
  • Windows: The plug-in is supposed to work under WinNT/95/98/ME but we do not support that officialy. You can find informations about installing the plug-in under these Windows versions here.
  • Windows: This plug-in does not support "Windows Terminal Services" officially, but we have a version which works with it. Please contact us per email.
Updates
Developer license
  • Our developer license allows the developer (a company or individual) to ship our plug-in with FileMaker Runtimes or FileMaker Pro bundled with the developers application. It is not limited to one site or one application. If you purchase a developer license you are allowed to distribute the plug-in with every of your applications without extra fees.
